strug·gle bus /ˈstrəg-əl bəs/ noun, informal
1. A state of being in which an individual feels overwhelmed, stuck, or in need of extra support to move forward.
2. A metaphorical vehicle one boards during challenging times, symbolizing the effort required to overcome obstacles or navigate life's difficulties.
3. At Struggle Bus Coaching, it’s where we start and not where we stay. We help ADHDers and their families find the tools, strategies, and support to shift into gear and move forward with confidence.
Not your typical brain. Not your typical coaching.
Coaching for ADHD brains and busy families who need more than just another planner to get it all together.
Because getting it together shouldn’t take everything that you’ve got.
Struggle Bus Coaching helps ADHDers, teens, and families navigate the chaos that comes with ADHD and focus challenges. We help you find forward motion and practical strategies that work.
You’re not lazy.
You’re not broken.
You’ve been working so hard to keep up and you are still feeling behind.
That’s not because you’re failing. It’s because the systems and support around you weren’t built for the way your brain works.
When life’s daily rhythms…like calendars, conversations, or chore routines…feel designed for someone else, getting through the day becomes exhausting. Coaching helps you build routines and strategies that are actually tailored to you and not to a “typical” brain.
Coaching isn’t therapy, counseling, or tutoring. It’s forward focused support that helps you:
Build routines that actually stick
Reduce overwhelm and get things done
Improve focus and productivity
Strengthen family communication
Move from stuck in the same chaos towards thriving with new tools and understanding

I See You.
I’ve Been You.
Kim Herman, PCC Professional ADHD Coach
I created Struggle Bus Coaching because I know how tiring is to always feel like you are always struggling to do what seems to come so easily to others. The frustration that comes from feeling like you are dropping the ball at work, at home, in parenting and in your own life is real. As a mom with ADHD raising ADHDers, I needed tools and support that I could not find…so I built them.
I am an ICF credentialed coach with advanced learning in both ADHD and adolescent coaching. I help ADHDers and their families find strategies that fit, so life feels less overwhelming and more doable.
Now I help adults, teens, and parents move toward lives that feel more steady, more manageable, and more themselves.
